The 2007 Street of Dreams is being held in Oregon City at Marklund Place.
There’s no doubt that it’s an incredible location for the 32nd Annual Street of Dreams, since it boasts stunning views of Mt Hood, Mt Adams and the Columbia Gorge—when the weather’s clear, of course.

Each home featured in the 2007 Street of Dreams represents countless hours of hard work, planning and attention to detail. The result is six beautiful masterpieces which certainly contain elements of grandeur, but ultimately the focus is on providing a comfortable, luxurious atmosphere.
In addition, Street of Dreams brings together the finest contractors, landscapers and designers to present current and future home owners with creative ideas for every lifestyle, whether the next house you buy costs $200,000 or $2,000,000.
The Oregon City Street of Dreams Homes
Starting with the smallest home of the six, here’s “Cottage in the Trees” at 4,300 square feet. It has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms all in French European styling. The back yard features a turf putting green complete with tee box and sand trap.

My favorite home, however, is the “Timber’s Edge” which is a modest 5,600 square feet and boasts the best valley views. The home is designed in a contemporary lodge style with vast windows and rough timber which is fitting for the rugged Northwest.
Downstairs beside the home entertainment center you’ll find a well crafted bar and wine cellar which holds nearly 400 bottles of wine.

“Salish Moon” is a contemporary style home with a blend of native stones and reclaimed timbers. It offers 5,900 square feet of living space, a 5 car garage and an immense amount of outdoor entertaining area.
The back yard features a par three golf hole complete with three tee boxes and a water hazard. The styling and design of this home is impressive including the fine details such as the bathroom sink (shown below) and beautiful paint work.

“Austlynn” was the largest home at over 6,300 square feet and offers a circular driveway with center fountain. It has a HUGE kitchen with double sinks, double dishwashers and a 60 inch professional range. The granite counter tops are expansive and there is close attention to detail throughout the house.

The “Pinnacle” is a feature rich home with over 6,100 square feet of living space. Some of the more noteworthy features are the three story turret with spiral stair case, the 800 bottle wine cellar and the automation system that offers complete control of the homes functions.
Its kitchen is both beautiful and elaborate with many high tech features such as the “speed oven”, built-in espresso machine and commercial refrigerator.

And the last home on the tour is “The Providence House” which offers over 5,200 square feet of lodge style living space. The woodwork in the home is extensive and there are plenty of windows to view out on the forested landscape.
If you step outside you’ll discover nearly 2,600 square feet of decks and an open air kitchen for outdoor entertaining.

I have to say, Street of Dreams is a must-see for home lovers here in the Portland Area. The tour is open from 11am until 10pm so you’ll have plenty of time to explore the homes and dream.
